Market intelligence

Sources before conclusions.

How published market observations are identified, dated, and presented.

Every data point has a source

Published datasets identify the provider and the period they describe. A publication date is not necessarily the date of the underlying transaction, permit, or survey.

Consistent comparisons

Geography, property type, sample size, and observation period affect comparisons. Differences in those definitions should be identified before comparing one measure with another.

No invented observations

If an approved dataset is not available, the website does not substitute sample market figures. Source access and licensing determine what may be published.
